The opening quote is pulled from an actual piece that Dillan turned in to his teacher that year. At the time, college football was little more than a pipe-dream for him. This “golden” dream began to become reality when Dillan started playing football in his Freshman year. Through dedication, handwork, and a winning gene-pool, Dillan’s dream was realized less that 7 years later when he became the youngest football commit in Notre Dame history at age 15. This recruiting process, though arduous at times, has proven to be the single greatest adventure that the Gibbons family has had the opportunity to partake in. We are all extremely proud of him, and cannot wait to see what experiences the next adventure will hold.
